Contex has launched its new range of wide format scanners. The new HD range offers a rich range of enhanced features, with new case design and colours of black and silver to higher optical scanning resolutions and higher data transfer speeds.

The optical resolution on the 36” and 42” scanners has been increased from 508 dpi to 600 dpi: the highest true optical resolution specification in the large format scanning industry today. The current product line will be updated with a faster USB 2.0 interface (from 18 MB/second to 32 MB/second). This will increase the scanning speed on higher resolution scans and wider documents, allowing users to reduce the time they spend on many daily scanning tasks by up to 50%.

The new HD range replaces many of the current range of Contex scanners providing (full list of new models and the older models that they have replaced is below).
