Sales Co-ordinator - Job Profile

Overview of role
This is a ‘first rung’ sales position with real potential to grow into an internal technical sales specialist. The Design Sales Co-ordinator will be responsible for achieving all agreed sales targets assigned to a defined group resellers. He/she will provide an internal sales support service taking in all aspects of operational sales.

Key duties

  • Providing customers with accurate and timely product information.
  • Sales administration (putting orders on the system accurately, expediting orders etc.)
  • Handling customer queries promptly.
  • Achieving sales targets in terms of revenue and profit.
  • Working closely with colleagues in external sales to grow sales in line with targets.
  • Implementing telesales promotions.
  • Communicating new procedures, product offers and programmes to the reseller base.
  • Profiling prospective new accounts.

Other duties.

  • Providing sales support at reseller events and exhibitions.
  • Producing sales performance and other management reports as required.

Contacts
Reporting to the Divisional Manager Design the Sales Co-ordinator Design will be based at the Nottingham office. Other key ArtSystems contacts will be internal and external sales teams, customer care, distribution/logistics and accounts. External contacts will mainly be resellers (at all levels) and end users but there will also be some communication with manufacturer suppliers.

The Person
Being an important member of the internal sales team, the successful candidate will be a first class communicator, highly organised, intelligent, enthusiastic and a keen learner. A positive approach to work and life in general are essential – somebody with a ‘can do’ attitude who can work under pressure. Experience in print/graphics sales would be advantageous but not essential. As personable sales driven person, the Sales Co-ordinator Design will be persuasive, personable and a first class team player.
